Volcanic Lightning

Last week, Japan's Sakurajima volcano erupted in spectacular fashion with fiery lava pouring down the mountain side and lightning flashing above.

This was enough to prompt me to google volcanic lightning which led to my finding some pretty amazing images.

Camel's in the Desert

Taken by photographer George Steinmetz and featured in a 2005 Turkish edition of National Geographic. At first glance it appears to be an image of dark colored camels crossing the desert but a closer look reveals that these are actually their shadows.
